Who we are

AODABAI (澳大白) is an Australian marketing agency based in Sydney. We run multilingual social media channels and campaigns for education providers, government bodies and other organisations that need to reach Chinese, Vietnamese and English-speaking audiences in Australia.

This policy covers www.aodabai.com and the enquiries that reach us through it. If you have a question about anything here, email james@aodabai.com.

What we collect

When you visit this site we collect basic usage information: which pages you viewed, how long you stayed, which site or advertisement sent you here, and general details about your device and browser. It reaches us through Google Analytics 4 and the Meta advertising pixel, and it is not tied to your name.

We also collect whatever you choose to send us. If you book a call or email us, that usually means your name, your email address, the organisation you work for, and what you would like to discuss.

Bookings run on Google's appointment scheduling service, which we have embedded in our booking page. What you enter into that form — your name, your email address, your organisation and what you would like to discuss — goes to Google as well as to us. It looks like part of this site, but it is not ours.

Cookies and tracking

Google Analytics 4 and the Meta pixel set cookies in your browser so that a returning visitor is recognised as the same visitor, and so we can measure whether our advertising is working.

Campaign tags in the page address — the extra text after a question mark in a link — tell us which campaign referred you. They are read when the page loads and stored in your browser; they are not attached to anything that identifies you. When you click through to book a call, the tags we have stored are added to the booking link, so we can see which campaign a booking came from.

You can block or delete these cookies in your browser settings, or use a tracker-blocking extension. The site works normally without them.

How we use it

The usage information tells us which parts of the site are useful and which are not, and lets us measure our own marketing so we spend on what works.

What you send us is used to answer your enquiry and to prepare for the conversation you asked for.

We do not sell your information, and we do not pass it to anyone else for their own marketing. The providers named below handle it on our behalf, to do a job we have asked them to do.

Who else can see it

Google and Meta process the analytics and advertising information on our behalf, under their own terms. Google also runs the appointment scheduling service behind our booking page, so what you enter to book a call reaches Google as well as us. This site is hosted by Vercel, and email reaches us through our email provider.

These providers operate globally, so some of this information may be stored or processed outside Australia.

Beyond that, we disclose information only where the law requires it.

Your choices

You can ask what information we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it. Email james@aodabai.com and we will respond within a reasonable time.

If you are not satisfied with how we have handled a privacy matter, you may take the complaint to the Office of the Australian Information Commissioner at oaic.gov.au.
