AODABAI 澳大白

Your next intake is researching you in Chinese.

We film on your campus and publish it where they’re looking. Built for those platforms by people who use them, not translated from your English campaign.

47% Of Federation University’s campaign audience was outside mainland China 2026-05

You can’t check work you can’t read.

You approve a budget. A supplier posts something in Chinese, and a report comes back saying it went well.

The content might be excellent. It might be nothing. From where you’re sitting those two look identical, and they’ll keep looking identical for as long as the work is in a language nobody on your team reads.

Case study · May 2026

Federation University

The brief was to reach Chinese students already studying in Australia and move them toward a Semester 2 application. We led with employability rather than the prospectus: why graduates struggle to find work here, and what actually changes it.

  • 83,048 impressions and 11,073 views on a single post
  • 80.3 seconds average watch time, against a 26.2 second channel average

Where they actually are

The part of our network that matters to you.

  • Mainland China, offshore 234,302 小红书, 抖音, 哔哩哔哩, 微信视频号
  • Chinese-speaking, already in Australia 49,888 Facebook, TikTok, YouTube

What we’d run for you

The six we’d start with.

Audience & Reach

  • Owned-Audience Distribution

Launch into an audience that already exists, instead of a cold account.

Your campaign publishes into AODABAI’s own network across thirteen channels in Chinese, Vietnamese and English. Every one built from zero, and open for you to look at before you commit anything.

  • Community Management

Someone answers, in the language the question was asked in.

Daily comment and direct-message response on your channels, moderation, and the questions worth your attention passed to you in English.

Content Production

  • Video Production

Video built for the platform it lands on, not resized for it.

Concept, scripting, on-location filming and edit. Campus and site shoots, interviews with the people who actually did the thing, and framing that earns attention before it asks for anything.

Campaigns & Media

  • Event Marketing & Hosting

The room fills, and the content outlives the day.

Promotion, bilingual hosting and on-the-day capture for open days, expos and launches, so an event produces a month of content instead of a photo album.

Platforms & Automation

  • Analytics & Reporting

Numbers you can take to a board, dated to the day they were read.

Monthly reporting in English against your own targets, with audience breakdowns, channel-level detail, and every figure traceable to the platform it came from.

Strategy & Enablement

  • Market-Entry Strategy

A case for the spend before a camera comes out.

Market sizing, audience research, competitor positioning and message localisation. The same modelling built for the Northern Territory’s international education strategy.

How a month runs

Six steps, every cycle, in the same order. It runs both directions: Australian organisations reaching Asian-language audiences, and Chinese-speaking operators reaching Australia.

  1. Brief Your targets, your markets, your calendar. What a good year looks like in numbers.
  2. Research What people in those markets are searching for, and what your competitors are already saying to them.
  3. Ideate A content slate mapped to how people in that market actually decide, not to how we would decide.
  4. Design Batch filming, bilingual scripting, editing, and formatting built for each platform's own conventions.
  5. Go-live Scheduled publishing across the right channels for each market, with community replies handled.
  6. Evaluate Monthly reporting against the brief, with dated figures and a recommendation for the next cycle.

Who this works for

This works well for

  • ELICOS colleges recruiting from China and Vietnam
  • Universities and pathway providers with a China strategy
  • Government international education bodies
  • Providers who need onshore students as well as offshore
  • Institutions that must satisfy procurement before they can buy

This is not the right fit for

  • Anyone wanting enrolments this month, because organic reach compounds rather than spiking to order
  • Paid media on its own, with no interest in the organic side
  • Recruiting from markets where we have no audience
  • Briefs that need content signed off by committee within 48 hours
Straight answers

The questions institutions actually ask.

Still unsure after this? Book the call and ask us directly.

Can you guarantee enrolments?

No, and anyone who does is guessing. We can show you reach, engagement and audience composition against dated benchmarks, and we report on them monthly. What happens between a student seeing your campus and submitting an application depends on far more than content.

Do you run paid advertising?

Yes, across Meta, Google and the Chinese platforms. But everything we can show you evidence for is organic, including our own audience, and that’s deliberate. If paid media is the only thing you want, an agency that specialises in it will serve you better than we will.

We already have a 小红书 account that is not working. Can you take it over?

Usually yes, and it is often faster than starting fresh. We built Study NT’s account from zero to third nationally, and the same process applies to an account that has stalled.

Which markets can you actually reach?

Mainland China through 小红书, 抖音, 哔哩哔哩 and 微信视频号. Vietnam through Thầy Giáo James. Chinese and English speakers already in Australia through Facebook, Instagram, TikTok and YouTube. We will not claim a market where we have no audience.

How much does it cost?

It depends on markets, filming days and how much of the channel work you want us to own, so we scope each engagement rather than publish a price list. Past engagements have run from a single short campaign to multi-year account management.

Do you meet our procurement requirements?

We hold a current ABN and public liability insurance, work to written service level agreements, and have responded to open government procurement including formal response schedules. Documentation comes with any proposal.

Send us what you’re running now

We’ll go through your existing channels and record a walkthrough of what we’d change and why. It’s free, it comes back within 2 business days, and there’s no meeting unless you want one.
